I Survived Batad

So I've been busy. As in ultra busy, I didn't had the time to blog.

So eto na nga, super late post. Naganap ito last June 12 pa. Yes, nung nakaraang buwan pa. But better late than never, di ba?

Dahil long weekend yang panahong yan, naisip kong sumabit sa travel buddy kong si Blyth along with her friends papuntang Batad.

Lakad pa more at..

This is where our group stayed..

Dahil sa napakahabang byahe at lakaran na tila walang katapusan, we decided na magpahinga muna after eating lunch.

Around 5pm, we decided to make kandirit at the pilapil of the terraces. Ahihihi.

Kinabukasan ang 'Lakad Pa More, Gapang Pa More' itinerary namin. We decided to climb the viewdeck before heading to the falls.

 Isn't it amazing?

 Isn't it surprising?

Isn't it?!

To give you a picture of how high the climb was, look at the coconut tree na nag-iisa sa right ng picture below. Ganyan kataas ang inakyat namin. Basic. Chos.

So another buwis buhay gapang ulit pababa at walang katapusang lakaran ulit papunta naman sa Tappiya Falls. Gusto ko ng sumuko, sa totoo lang. My feet are for leisure walking lang talaga.

After almost 1 hour of another trekking, narating na din namin sya.. ta-daa!

The 30 meters high Tappiya Falls. Isn't this regal?I'm in love!

O kaylangan may meditative pose. Ahihihi.

Before lunch, we headed back to Hillside Homestay. It was yet another tiring trek going back. The lakaran seemed endless as we head back to Banaue during the afternoon. Gapang Pa More talaga!

But it was really a memorable trip. The views are to die for. Who wouldn't want to wake up at this majestic scenery everyday? Amazing, impressive landscape- indeed a very beautiful place to stay.

So how much did it cost me for this vacation?

  • Fare                                  900
  • Registration (Banaue)          20
  • Breakfast (Day1)               105
  • Van (Banaue-Batad RT)     400
  • Registration (Batad)             50
  • Accommodation                 250
  • Lunch  (Day1)                    100
  • Dinner (Day1)                    170
  • Tapuy Wine (share)            100
  • Breakfast (Day2)               100
  • Lunch  (Day2)                   130
  • Dinner (Day2)                    150
  • Bottled water (3L)               80
Total                                           2,555

Not bad, right?

I hope to be back- minus the tiring trek prolly- I just wanna chill and enjoy the stunning view from my window.
